The PepsiCo Foundation recently donated $5,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, helping deliver an estimated 25,000 meals to families across Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties.
Second Harvest serves the region through a network of more than 160 partner pantries, meal sites, school programs, and senior distributions, reaching over 20,000 people every week. With its ability to stretch each donated dollar into multiple meals, the food bank distributed 10.6 million pounds of food last year alone.
The PepsiCo Foundation’s gift provides a timely boost during a season when demand increases and many families face higher food and living costs. It’s a meaningful contribution that helps ensure more neighbors have access to healthy, reliable food when they need it most.
