OhioBev took the beverage industry’s story to Capitol Hill as part of the American Beverage Association’s annual Fly-In. Our delegation included representatives from Coca-Cola Consolidated and Pepsi, who joined industry colleagues from across the country to meet with members and staff from Ohio’s Congressional delegation.
Throughout the visit, our team highlighted the strength of Ohio’s beverage companies as major employers, community partners and drivers of local economic activity. Conversations focused on the industry’s economic impact, continued investments in recycling and sustainability, and support for national, uniform ingredient standards that provide clarity and consistency for consumers and businesses alike.
The Fly-In was a powerful opportunity to build relationships, share our priorities and remind policymakers that Ohio’s beverage industry is delivering for jobs, communities and consumers every day.
