Mansfield’s Liberty Park Ribbon Cutting with Coca-Cola Consolidated

The official ribbon-cutting event was held July 12 at Liberty Park in Mansfield, Ohio, as Mayor Jodie Perry and State Representative Marilyn John celebrated the grand reopening of the park’s newly renovated basketball court. The court now boasts a state-of-the-art VersaCourt surface, brand-new hoops, and a striking Mansfield logo at center court.

The renovation is a wonderful example of a successful partnership, bringing together the city of Mansfield, the nonprofit organization Hoops 4 Youth, and Coca-Cola Consolidated/BodyArmor. This collaboration aims to promote fun and fitness within the community, providing a top-notch recreational facility for local residents.

Also on hand for the event were Miss Ohio Black Teen 2024, Rakayla Smith, and Teen Miss Black Mansfield 2024, Davanna Parks.

Special thanks to Coca-Cola Consolidated for their generous sponsorship and to Hoops 4 Youth for their invaluable contribution to the project. The new basketball court at Liberty Park will welcome players of all ages, and offer a premier space for athletic activities and community gatherings.
