The 16th annual Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway awarded $100,000 in tuition funds to each of four student winners during the College Football Conference Championship games. The competition, held at the ACC, Big 12, SEC, and Big Ten championship games, featured eight talented finalists vying for the generous prize.
In front of cheering crowds, the finalists competed in the challenge of throwing as many footballs as possible into an oversized Dr Pepper can within 30 seconds from a five-yard distance.
Students from Baylor University, Lincoln Memorial University, California State Polytechnic University Pomona and Salem State University were the big winners of the tuition scholarships.
To date, Keurig Dr Pepper has donated nearly $18 million in their ongoing commitment to supporting students in the pursuit of higher education.
