G&J Pepsi Named PepsiCo 2024 Bottler of the Year

G&J Pepsi Bottlers, Inc. has been named PepsiCo’s 2024 Donald M. Kendall North America Bottler of the Year. The honor, announced July 22 by PepsiCo Beverages U.S. (PBUS), recognizes G&J’s  Hamilton-based facility for operational excellence, innovation, and enduring commitment to community.

Named after PepsiCo’s former chairman and CEO, the Donald M. Kendall award has, for more than 30 years, celebrated independent bottlers who lead with distinction and deliver strong results.

This year’s award was presented at a July 17 ceremony in Orlando, Florida, by PBUS CEO Ram Krishnan and SVP of Strategic Partnerships Paul Finney.

The win is especially meaningful as G&J Pepsi celebrates its 100th anniversary.

“It’s incredibly special to see Gross & Jarson’s Hamilton team back in the spotlight,” said Mike Ruff, President of PBUS’s North Division. “The last time they earned this honor was in 1997, the same year Pepsi celebrated its 100th anniversary. Now, nearly three decades later, they’re once again recognized at the highest level during their own centennial year. It’s a full-circle moment that speaks volumes about their consistency, leadership, and lasting impact on our system.”

During the ceremony, G&J was lauded as a high-performing partner for their strong retail and event execution as well as their focus on safety, efficiency, and service.

Service to the greater Hamilton community was another highlight for G&J. The team stays connected to programming at the Butler County Veterans Service Commission, including the Silent Watch vet suicide awareness event. Hamilton also hosted a veterans appreciation day this spring.

In concluding remarks about the win, Tim Trant , CEO of G&J Pepsi shared that, “it’s an honor to receive the Donald M. Kendall Bottler of the Year Award during such a milestone year for our company. This award is a testament to the dedication of our Hamilton team and the strength of our partnership with PepsiCo. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited for what’s ahead.”
