Coca-Cola Consolidated Brings Holiday Cheer to Students

In the spirit of the season, volunteers from Coca-Cola Consolidated teamed up with Samaritan’s Feet at the Maritime Academy of Toledo. Just before the holidays, every student received a brand-new pair of shoes. All 300 students received a pair of shoes,  as well as a  “Hope Tote”, which included the shoes, a pair of socks, and a personalized note of encouragement—adding a touch of holiday cheer.

Samaritan’s Feet is a humanitarian aid non-profit that serves and inspires hope by providing shoes to those in need. Founded in 2003, they have served more than 10.5 million people in 111 countries, including 625 cities in the United States.

The Maritime Academy of Toledo, a public school serving grades 6–12, is one of just 18 maritime-themed public schools in the United States. To learn more about the Academy, please visit their website.
